Blood Wedding
By Federico García Lorca
Adapted by Tanya Ronder
Directed By Hal Chambers
Set and Costume By Toby Coulton
Lighting Design By Kyle Drakes

On the eve of the wedding of a young couple from feuding families, the bride-to-be elopes with her former lover. The groom's mother is torn between a desire for vengeance and the instinct to protect her son. As historic conflicts erupt around the couple, the stage is soon set for a blood-soaked story of doomed love.
Our production moved the action from rural Spain to an isolated 1850s Northern farming village in the midst of a summer drought.
