POMONA

Costume and Wig Design By Valeriya Vorokina

Lighting Design By Owen Hollands

Ollie’s sister is missing. Searching Manchester in desperation, she finds all roads lead to Pomona – an abandoned concrete island at the heart of the city. Here at the centre of everything, journeys end and nightmares are born.

As a part of Rose Bruford Colleges 'British Contemporary Theatre' Season this production of Pomona was performed in a rep with James I. The challenge was to design two shows which could be dismantled and switched around and remounted in thirty minuets, muliple times over the course of a week. The second challenging aspect was trying to design a production which felt professional in quailty with an entire show budget of £375. This meant designing the two shows in a conscientious way which allowed both productions to share scenic elements which could be rotated in the turn around.
